Channel on Jalan Marunda Baru XIV Being Repaired

The water channel on Jalan Marunda Baru XIV, RT 15/03, Marunda Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district is being repaired.

This is targeted to be completed by the end of this September

Cilincing Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, repair is focused on four points of the channel with a total length of 22 meters.

"The work involving seven personnel has been ongoing since the end of August 2025," he expressed, Thursday (9/11).

Repairs Complete, Senen Bus Stop Ready for Inauguration

He explained, this repair includes widening and installing channel covers. The widening of the channel varies from 60 to 100 centimeters. Previously, it only had a width of 50 centimeters and a depth of 100 centimeters.

"This is targeted to be completed by the end of this September," he explained.

The repair received appreciation from North Jakarta City Council Member, Epriyanto.

"Hopefully the work goes smoothly and is completed on time, so that it can resolve the flooding caused by the overflow of the Bogor River, which often inundates residents' homes," he hoped.

He urged residents to support the work by maintaining order around the site, not throwing trash into the channel, and actively keeping the environment clean.

"Because residents' discipline in managing household waste will greatly determine the effectiveness of the channel currently being repaired," he stated.
